video games

I agree with Dr. Freeman of the University of California that thinks playing video games at school is the equvialent of kids eating so many sweets that they don't want to eat regular healthy food. If my teacher spoils me for the first week of school with movies everyday, I'm going to expect to watch movies everyday for the rest of the year. You can't spoil kids by allowing them to play video games, you have to reward them. Teachers should make a wager with students that if 80% of them get a c or higher on the test thursday, then Friday is video game day. This will teach students that to get what you want you have to earn it. It will also act as a motivational tool and give students something to look forward too.

comment on business ethics

I believe that what the two people did to buy and sell the land was unethical; however, very clever and they deserve to keep the money. We live in a free market economy, every man for themself. They did what they have to do to survive, and that's make money. The lady that sold it for a measly 450,000 should have been more careful with the actual value of the land, so shes at fault. The two people saw an opportunity of a life time, so they took it, and that's the way it's supposed to be in America.

Financial Advisor review

I think this site is extremely useful for many Americans (like me), that have problems holding on the money they make for a sufficient amount of time. Even in school when I borrow money or lend money from friends in lunch, after a day or two I forget about it. This site keeps track of everything you need to have in order to prevent from going bankrupt. It lists all the money I have, the money I spent, the money I owe, and it even has a pie graph to give me a visual. When I graduate and get a real job and have real responsabilities, I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up using this site.

movie critique

The last movie I saw was The Marine on On Demand last night, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0419946/

Eventhough this movie kept me entertained, I thought it was the most predicatable and fictionaly movie of the year. John Cena was made out to be some steroid inecting immortal that somehow survives every blast, gun shot and fight scene without a bruise or a scratch. He drives a car off a cliff and it gets blown up in the air, and yet he finds a way to escape the car in time and land in a soft place, leaving without any injury on him. I counted four separate scenes that involve Cena jumping out of the way of a huge explosion just in the nick of time. Sorry but it gets old after a while.

Increase learning in schools

Americans in today society are greedy, everybody is about capital gain. If you want students to try harder to learn the subject, reward them. Competition over G.P.A doesn't always work, because students that know they are going to the army or miami dade after high school won't care that much about their G.P.A's. But if you make it a competition and put up standings for the highest grades, and then reward them with pizza, trophy's, or homework passes, maybe students will want to prove other students wrong. It might make teacher's pockets a little bit lighter, but at least they will do their jobs better.
